KPS LEADERS
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” – John Quincy Adams
At the end of the first term, KPS leaders are selected to head the various monitor groups. Monitors vote for their group leaders, after which the teachers responsible for each group meet to discuss the nominations.
KPS leaders are announced at a school assembly, where they receive a blue sash and badge and recite a leadership pledge. Leaders are expected to support the teacher in charge of their monitor group and carry out additional responsibilities.
At the end of the second term, KPS leaders vote for the Head Boy and Head Girl, as well as their deputies. Following staff discussion, the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl are announced at assembly. The names of the Head Boy and Head Girl are engraved on the Honours Board in the school foyer.
